Alien Nation

A narrative about my new immigrant experience living in Quebec in the first 5 years of my life after moving to Montreal. The performance debuted at the Rhubarb! Festival for their 20th anniversary in Toronto, Canada. Alien Nation was an electronic, ferociously comic, cross cultural multi disciplinary performance. Its thematic concerns of sexuality, identity, ethnic origin, otherness, fetishism and gender variance used the languages of physicality and vocabulary to question our relationships.

Performed at Rhubarb! In February and Central Nerve (SAVAC) in November 1998. I also remember doing 2 performances in Montreal at lofts for arts events that year.
